Adding freight costs to sales order

You can use this function in a quote or in a sales order upfront to calculate and add the expected freightcost to the sales quote or sales order.

If enabled in the ShipIT 365 setup, freight costs will be added to sales orders automatically after selecting a rate. Adding a Shipping Cost Surcharge (%) will add a fixed percentage to the selected rate.

To add freight costs to a sales order, use the 'Carrier Selection' action on the sales order card and select a carrier/rate.

be aware this is a calculation of expected cost. Once the order is processed and depending on the logistics action the created transport and the cost of this transport can be different then the initial expected cost. Therefore you have the opportunity to do a new carrier selection in the transportorder. This will not update the sales line.
