Azure storage (Import)

The main import flow for Azure storage is the same as the manual process. If you click on the process> Import data button, the connection is created and data is imported. How to import & process is described in Manually (Import) .

On the Azure Storage tab, provide your Azure Storage Connection String and container name. If the container name does not yet exist in your Azure Storage, it will be created automatically.

Archiving

  • Delete after import = delete the file after the import from the location

  • Move after import = moves the file after import to the folder set in the move to container

  • Move to container = this is the container where the file should be moved to.

How to create an Azure Storage ?

You can set up Azure Storage in your Azure Portal. In the portal, click the Storage Accounts button and click add. Fill out the form based on your own preferences and click Review + create. After the storage account passed validation, click Create.

When the storage is finished, open the storage and find the connection string. You now have all the information needed to fill out the “Azure Storage” tab on the import definition card.
