Barcode ranges

Barcode ranges are used to generate barcodes for the tickets.
A barcode range has a barcode type. Currently the following barcode types are supported: EAN 8, EAN13 and UPC-A.
A barcode range also has a no. series attached, which creates the actual barcodes.
For EAN 8 create a no. series that holds 7 positions. The last digit in the EAN 8 barcode is a calculated field.
The same applies for EAN 13 barcodes. the no. series should hold 12 position, the 13th character is calculated.

For one barcode type, multiple barcode ranges can be setup in the systems.

The No. Series must comply with the following rules:
Auto Increment must be set to 1, default nos. must be enabled and manual nos. must be disabled.
It’s also mandatory to specify the ending no. on the No. Series Line.

For every item with a barcode type configured a unique barcode will be created for every ordered quantity.
